Indoor Flying

Two Wednesday evenings each month, see schedule below.
New Maryland Elementary School
FMAC membership required to fly

Old Man Winter can’t keep a good RC pilot down. When the days are short and the temperature drops, FMAC members meet at the New Maryland Elementary School gymnasium twice a month to fly electric. Multi-rotors and helis, fixed-wing 3D to micros keep our thumbs in practice and satisfy our need to fly.

Club Day at Durham Field

3rd Saturday of the month from June to October
Durham Field
FMAC membership required to fly

Once a month during the summer FMAC members gather at the Durham field for Club Day. Regardless of your flying schedule, Club Day is your opportunity to connect with the membership, check out the new planes, swap tall tales and generally have a grand time. Spontaneous limbo and spot landing contests have been known to break out, with prizes ranging from bragging rights to really exaggerated bragging rights. There is always a good member turnout and there’s usually something sizzling on the grill. It is a family-friendly fun time.

Autumn BBQ and Corn Boil (TBA)

To Be Announced
Durham Field
FMAC membership required to fly

Club Day in September is when club flyers celebrate the harvest season with high spirits, grilled meats, boiled corn and, of course, lots of flying. As the morning chill creeps in and the days get shorter, this is the last “Hurrah!” as summer slips away. The penultimate day of Fredericton’s Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival is certain to see some out-of-town R/C pilots in attendance for the friendly competitions, al fresco cuisine, and stories… oh the stories.
