About FMAC
Fredericton Model Aircraft Club is a group of people who love RC flying. We are located 25 km north of Fredericton, New Brunswick, just a few minutes from the Route 8 highway.
We fly gas, turbines, electric, glow, scale, profiles, combat wings and FPV. We have RC pilots who have flown for decades and beginners who are just learning the joys of radio controlled flight.
Got a question? Just learning? Curious? Come on down to Durham Field! You can find folks flying most days, with the weekend mornings being the most popular. Mornings are calm with winds generally increasing throughout the day.

Where We Fly
We fly from grass, water, and when it's too cold outdoors, we fly indoors!
Durham Field
This is our primary flying site, situated about 25 km north of Fredericton in Upper Durham. We maintain a large grass strip in a 35-acre cleared field. There is ample parking, loads of room in the pit area and a 124m x 26m groomed runway.

Mactaquac Causeway
The Mactaquac headpond is a great place to fly off water. About 25 km west of Fredericton, opposite the Mactaquac Marina, is a picturesque spot that is great for flying.

Indoor Gym
The New Maryland Elementary School gymnasium is our home for the winter, only 10 km south of Fredericton. See the indoor flying schedule below for dates and times.
